About the network

Together, we are building a more resilient future for those living in the camps in Lebanon

The Shabaka Palestinian Network was established to unify and strengthen civil society organisations operating within Palestinian Refugee Camps. Over time, we have evolved into a structured, independent entity that coordinates aid, develops sustainable community initiatives, and advocates for the needs and rights of the Palestinian people.

Driving Collaboration for Lasting Impact

By fostering collaboration between organisations, The Network has been instrumental in delivering essential services, addressing local grievances, and ensuring that resources reach those who need them most. Our work is not just about solving immediate challenges but also about building long-term capacity and resilience within PRCs.

Strengthening Governance & Legitimacy

With the establishment of a Central Committee, the election of representatives, and the drafting of a Memorandum of Understanding, the network has solidified its governance framework. Furthermore, we have been legally registered as a not-for-profit entity, securing its ability to operate independently and attract sustainable funding.

A Trusted Platform for Advocacy & Impact

Through ongoing collaboration with external stakeholders, including UNRWA, Popular Committees, and civil society organisations, we have emerged as a trusted platform for advocacy and coordination. By leveraging our structured approach to community development, we ensure that resources are distributed equitably, voices are heard, and lasting change is achieved.
